As part of the first edition of the Bucharest Design Festival, this year we’ve curated a series of special events, talks, workshops, and markets that invite the community to explore and reflect on how design and local culture shape our everyday lives and bring us together - from a beautiful art print on the wall, accessories designed for a bike ride through the city, to the slow ritual of preparing matcha in an artisanal bowl, or enjoying a aesthetically pleasing dish made with seasonal local ingredients.

APPLIED ART IN EVERYDAY

From curated illustrations, ceramics, tableware and coffee accessories, to healthy food and drinks - OTOTO Amzei becomes a showcase of beautiful design as seen on the packaging of everyday products. Art on a fish can or on a olive oil ceramic bottle, illustrations inspired by food or coffee, art on a tote bag, you will get to witness how beautiful independent brands nurture collaborations with the artists from the local community. 


A TASTE OF JAPANESE TEA CULTURE WITH YULIA IWASAKI-DEAK
